Al Fay Park: Proudly Emirati
We’re going to start with our favorite one, Al Fay Park. Although this park isn’t as sizeable as some of its sisters on this list, it carries a unique air of its own and that’s because the plant life here is all exclusively local species. That’s immense when you consider how much vegetation is in this park!
This park is great for skating and boasts a sandy volleyball court, a basketball court (where trainings are usually held), and a refreshing mini-golf course between the trees. Al Fay Park is located between the City of Lights Sub District and the Shams Gate District.
Reem Central Park: The Largest Park in Reem Island
Reem Central Park is Reem Island’s largest park and one of its main attractions. Reem Central Park is not simply a park. It is an experience. Back in 2019, Aldar launched an event with the aid of local artists to make Reem Central Park the art piece it is today. This resulted in a park that is akin to a living urban art museum.
This massive park has an abundance of F&B options (usually in the form of food trucks) and also boasts a retail center. There is a full-fledged skate park in Reem Central Park as well as multiple courts that include basketball, volleyball, and football courts.
There is an abundance of play options for little kids in this park from a blow-up pool with blow-up boats, to play areas, fountains, and beachside activities.
Sea Hawk is a popular name in Reem Park and it offers visitors a chance to kayak across the magnificent waters through the mangroves. It also offers visitors the chance to rent stand-up paddle boards, paddle boats, and round boats.

Gateway Park
This park in Reem Island is one of the smallest ones on this list but also one of the coziest ones. It has a unique kids’ play area and a spacious basketball court. Otherwise, it gets its name from the arc-like structures that form above the path that runs through the center of the park. This Reem Island park is dotted with palm trees that bear fruit during the third quarter of the year and boasts stunning greenery.
